What I can do at your place
Most of what a workshop does to a car, I can do on your driveway with the tools in the van. If it turns out to be something that genuinely needs a hoist, I will tell you that rather than take the job on.
Basic servicing
Oil and filter, fluids checked and topped, and a look over the things that quietly go wrong between bigger jobs.
Logbook servicing
Serviced to your manufacturer's schedule and written up properly, so the book stays in order.
Brakes
Pads, rotors and the checks around them, so the car pulls up straight and quiet again.
Repairs and diagnostics
Finding the actual fault before anything gets replaced, then a written quote so you know what you are agreeing to.

How it actually works
There is no drop off and no pick up, so the whole thing tends to take less of your day than booking a workshop does.
Call or send a message
Tell me what the car is and what it is doing. If it is off the road, say so and I will work out whether it is something I can sort where it sits.
I come to the car
Most jobs get done right where it is parked. Plenty of people leave the keys and go to work, and come back to a serviced car.
Itemised invoice, pay online
You get an itemised invoice for exactly what was done, and you can pay it online. Anything I find gets quoted, not just added on.
Timing chain, guides and tensioner on the bench end of a job. The fiddly work still gets done properly on a driveway.
Newer cars, and the older ones too
A daily driver that needs its logbook stamped and a much loved older car are different jobs, and both are welcome. Customers have had everything from a 2000 Celica to a Ford F100 looked after, and the odd classic gets the patient treatment it needs.
If your car is older, unusual, or has a quirk that other people have given up on, it is worth a phone call before you write it off.

If you're looking for the best mechanic, you need to contact Zach. I broke down last Tuesday 30/06 steam coming from under the bonnet. Had to tow the car home. I needed a mobile mechanic. Zach is an amazing mechanic and always is on time or early to our scheduled appointments. He has been great, I have had him booked twice now for an oil/oil filter service change and an LED headlight globe install and his work is A1. Highly recommend this nifty mechanic.
